One of the UK’s leading telecommunications companies chose PomidorCart to develop an automated solution that could handle delivery of unique PIN numbers (PINs of Prepaid Calling Cards) to their customers via email and SMS, from their call shops across UK.

In order for this program to be successful, the application had to process orders that were made directly by customers online or by companies' staff in their designated call shops on behalf of their customers. Once orders were received, PomidorCart verified the payment and delivered the PINs to customers via email or SMS. With our worldwide SMS coverage, PINs can be delivered to many other destinations world-wide.

We have also implemented the option for their UK based customers to purchase PINs on behalf of friends and family in other countries and then deliver the PIN to the end-user upon successful payment.

PomidorCart initially developed a process that could be installed on an open-source shopping cart system (to reduce the initial start-up cost). PomidorCart allowed the staff and the end-users to purchase PINs online. Although the initial program successfully met the client’s expectations, PomidorCart knew that they could further improve customer satisfaction and therefore developed a new payment system that could effectively protect the client from fraudulent activities and also help their customers to experience a safer environment while purchasing prepaid calling cards online.

This payment system allows customers to top-up their account first and once the payments are authorised, the customers' account can be credited for the top-up amount. Customers can then purchase products using their credit.
